Cllr Bennett nee (Maund) was born and bred in Cornelly. She has two grown up daughters and she recently retired as Headteacher at Afon y Felin School after 40 years.
Sue is a former Cub, Brownie and Guide Leader and she has served on the Community Council for the last ten years.
Represented Cornelly ward since 1965, from Kenfig Parish Council to Bridgend County Borough Council.
